Mr Emilios Michael is the Director of the Department of Labour Relations, Social Policy & Human Resources Development at CCCI. Mr Michael has extensive experience with more than 35 years in the field. 

He deals with all the issues of the complex field of Industrial Relations, including the conduct of negotiations with the Trade Unions as the employer’s representative.  

He is the representative of the Chamber in all the Tripartite Bodies and committees that are in the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance and deal with issues of labor content.  Among others he is also a member of the following tripartite bodies: Labour Advisory Board, Social Insurance Council, National Employment Committee, Administrative Board of the Central Leave Fund, Fund Council for Surplus Personnel, All Cyprus Safety and Health Council. 

He is a member of the Court of Labour Disputes, Associate – representative of the employer’s side.  

Since 1988 he has been a member of the employers’ delegation which takes part every year in the Sessions of the International Labour Organization (I.L.O). It also participates in both the Euro-Mediterranean and European Conferences of the Economic and Social Councils and conferences of the European Union.  He is an active member and representative of CCCI in Small and Medium – Sizes enterprises (SME’s), European Social Fund committee, Advisory Committee on Social Security for Migrant Workers, Advisory committee on Free Movement of Workers, and European Committee for Social Dialogue.  

Mr. Emilios Michael holds a BSc degree in Economics and Business Management and an MBA (Master of Business Administration). 

Ο κ. Αιμίλιος Μιχαήλ είναι Διευθυντής Τμήματος Εργασιακών Σχέσεων, Κοινωνικής Πολιτικής & Ανάπτυξης Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού του ΚΕΒΕ. Ο κύριος Μιχαήλ κατέχει πολυετή εμπειρία με περισσότερα από 35 χρόνια στον τομέα.  

Ασχολείται με όλα τα θέματα του πολύπλοκου τομέα των Εργασιακών Σχέσεων συμπεριλαμβανομένου και αυτού της διεξαγωγής διαπραγματεύσεων με τις Συνδικαλιστικές Οργανώσεις.  

 Είναι εκπρόσωπος του ΚΕΒΕ σε όλα τα Τριμερή Σώματα που είναι στο Υπουργείο Εργασίας και ασχολούνται με θέματα εργασιακού περιεχομένου. Μεταξύ άλλων είναι μέλος στα Εργατικό Συμβουλευτικό Σώμα, Συμβούλιο Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων, Εθνική Επιτροπή Απασχόλησης, Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο Κεντρικού Ταμείου Αδειών, Συμβούλιο Ταμείου για Πλεονάζων Προσωπικό και Παγκύπριο Συμβούλιο Ασφάλειας και Υγείας.  

 Είναι μέλος του Δικαστηρίου Εργατικών Διαφορών, Πάρεδρος – εκπρόσωπος της εργοδοτικής πλευράς.  

 Από το 1988 είναι μέλος της εργοδοτικής αντιπροσωπείας που λαμβάνει μέρος κάθε χρόνο στις Συνόδους της Διεθνούς Οργάνωσης Εργασίας (I.L.O). Επίσης συμμετέχει τόσο στις Ευρώ Μεσογειακές και Ευρωπαϊκές Συνδιασκέψεις των Οικονομικών και Κοινωνικών Συμβουλίων όσο και σε διασκέψεις της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.  

 Ο κ. Μιχαήλ είναι μέλος και εκπρόσωπος του ΚΕΒΕ στις πιο κάτω Επιτροπές της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης:

• Advisory Committee on Social Security for Migrant Workers
• Advisory committee on Free Movement of Workers 

Ο κ. Αιμίλιος Μιχαήλ είναι κάτοχος των πτυχίων BSC στα Οικονομικά και Διεύθυνση Επιχειρήσεων και MBA (Master of Business Administration).
